EPICA bring “The Symphonic Synergy” to Lisbon with full orchestra and choir
EPICA return to Portugal for one of the most ambitious live productions of their career. On October 11, 2027, the Dutch band will take over Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon with “The Symphonic Synergy”, a special production bringing EPICA together with a full orchestra and choir.
Part of the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations, The Symphonic Synergy brings EPICA‘s symphonic dimension to the stage on a rarely seen scale. The concept originated in 2024, when four shows in Amsterdam and Mexico City captivated more than 30,000 fans, and now returns re-imagined and adapted to celebrate 25 years of EPICA.
With only 11 dates across Europe, this will be a rare opportunity to experience EPICA‘s music in its most powerful and cinematic form. Demand for these special shows has already been exceptional, with performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall and São Paulo’s Vibra selling out in less than three days.
Over more than two decades, EPICA have established themselves as one of the defining names in symphonic metal, combining Simone Simons’ distinctive vocals with the intensity of metal and expansive orchestral arrangements. In 2025, the band opened a new chapter with Aspiral, their ninth studio album, further refining the balance of power, melody and symphonic grandeur at the heart of their sound.
In Lisbon, that music will be presented in one of its most complete forms: band, full orchestra and choir together on stage, in a production designed to bring the epic and cinematic scale of EPICA’s music fully to life.
