The Pineapple Thief – Live in Porto
THE PINEAPPLE THIEF bring “Far and Wide” to Lisbon and Porto
The Pineapple Thief return to Portugal in March 2027 for two special shows: March 14 at República da Música in Lisbon and March 16 at Casa da Música in Porto, as part of their European tour in support of the new album Far and Wide.
Led by songwriter, vocalist and producer Bruce Soord, The Pineapple Thief have spent more than two decades developing a distinctive musical identity, combining intimate, emotionally charged songwriting with expansive soundscapes and remarkable sonic depth. The addition of drummer Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson) marked a new creative chapter for the band, leading to a run of acclaimed albums including Your Wilderness, Dissolution, Versions of the Truth and It Leads to This.
In 2027, the band bring “Far and Wide” to Portugal. Released on October 9, 2026, the new album sees The Pineapple Thief continue to push their sound forward, balancing intimacy and emotional weight with the expansive, immersive sound that has become one of the band’s defining characteristics.
The Lisbon and Porto dates will also feature a special “An Evening With The Pineapple Thief” format: no support act and an extended performance of approximately 135 minutes, including an acoustic section midway through the show. The format will give the band the space to present Far and Wide alongside highlights from across their catalogue, moving from intimate and haunting moments to the powerful, immersive soundscapes at the heart of The Pineapple Thief’s live performances.
