Moonspell | Irreligious XXV Anniversary show

MOONSPELL are returning to Lisbon for two exclusive concerts on June 18th and 19th at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo, which is reopening its doors for this much-anticipated return to live shows in a new venue on Av. Marechal Gomes da Costa.

The first concert, on June 18th, is dedicated to IRRELIGIOUS, MOONSPELL’s second album, originally released by Century Media in July 1996. It is considered by many to be the band’s most enigmatic work, featuring some of their greatest classics, which are present in nearly all their live performances, such as “Opium,” “Full Moon Madness,” and others.

In September 2016, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of IRRELIGIOUS, MOONSPELL released a special reissue of the album, which sold out almost everywhere. Now, as the album turns 25, they will take the stage at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo to perform the album in its entirety, celebrating this milestone in a truly unique way, with a show meticulously designed to honor this edition.
